Chris Brown is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Los Angeles Superior court Monday. Rihanna will be present, but it is unclear whether or not she’ll be called to testify.
Chris Brown is charged with viciously attacking Rihanna, in what turned out to be one of the biggest celeb-crime stories of late. Rihanna received a subpoena to be a prosecution witness for the preliminary court hearing on June 22, but a spokesperson for the court has not confirmed that she will take the stand.
Another big question when Chris Brown goes to court Monday is whether or not video cameras will be permitted while he faces two felony counts related to the alleged assault of his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.
Brown’s lawyers attempted to delay the hearing, but California’s Supreme Court denied the motion.
Also, there were questions about whether or not the leaked photo of a battered Rihanna would affect the prosecution’s case against Chris Brown. According to reports, Los Angeles Criminal Court Judge Patricia Schnegg said that at present it would not.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see if Chris Brown gets a fair trial, and if justice will be served. Below are some pictures and video of Brown and Rihanna.
