A nightclub owner has spoken out to defend Justin Timberlake - blasting reports the pop star cheated on girlfriend Jessica Biel at the New York venue. Lindsay Lohan sparked rumours the singer was unfaithful while partying at celebrity hot spot Avenue when she wrote a message on her Twitter.com blog last week, "where's jb cheater", adding the next day, "Why do people cheat?" The Mean Girls actress has since insisted she did not write the comments and claimed they were the results of a hacker. But witnesses at the club suggest Timberlake was seen drunkenly talking to a mystery woman, according to the New York Post. Now Avenue owner Noah Tepperberg has spoken out to defend Timberlake, insisting video cameras at the nightspot prove the singer behaved himself. Tepperberg tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "My partner, Danny A, was with Justin and a few of his guy friends the entire night, and I was within 15 feet of him the whole time he was there, and we know for sure he was not doing anything with other girls. "He was having a good time with the guys, and came and left with them. I have surveillance cameras that show this to be the case and anything you are hearing is simply not true.” A representative for Timberlake said, “I have no comment on my client’s personal life.” (KD/WNWCPS/ZN) wenn.com Like he's going to rat out Justin Timberlake anyway! In other couple news.....Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo = OVER "They have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another," Minnillo's rep tells Us. Adds a source: "It was an amicable break-up. They walk away from it still friends." (Us Weekly)
