Peter Andre has reportedly launched plans to release an autobiography to prevent his reputation from being tarnished by Katie Price. The popstar decided that he wants to sign a book deal after hearing that his ex-partner is writing a candid account of their marriage and sex life for her own latest memoirs, according to the Daily Star. A source said: "Peter has an awful lot to tell people about their relationship but he has been very careful so far not to badmouth Kate. He doesn't want the kids to resent him when they're older. "But he is sick of the lies Kate has been telling since they split and is bracing himself for more in her book. He feels the only way he can tell his side honestly is to release his own book. I don't think he'll hold back this time." Meanwhile, a friend of Price commented: "When she sets her mind to do something, she'll do it properly. This book is her chance to put straight everything she has been slammed for in the press and if that means slagging off Pete, then so be it."
