Rashida Jones has dispatched her rep to squash rumors that she has become the latest squeeze of John Mayer. The Interwebs were rampant with reports of the two on a Friday night dinner date at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. Witnesses were claiming that Mayer had even borrowed a guitar from a nearby restaurant performer to serenade Jones with his song "Your Body Is a Wonderland." Not true, says a rep for the NBC star: "She was having dinner with friends - totally independent of him. He came over to the table she was at with her friends, said hello to everyone, (and) asked if he could play the guitar that her friends were already playing. (His) performance was not directed at anyone."
