Carrie Underwood:  “Play On” Promoter

Out promoting her new album, Carrie Underwood was spotted in New York City arriving at the “Late Show with David Letterman” earlier today (November 2).

Looking cute and fall weather appropriate, the “Cowboy Casanova” singer donned jeans and animal print heels with a blue top underneath a gray puffy vest.

Ms Underwood’s third album, “Play On,” debuts this week and is still very much country complete with banjo, pedal steel and mandolin, but according to a report, the album has different musical textures adding a level of maturity to it.

Of her newest project, Carrie tells press, “This has been kind of my first attempt at love songs and I think there’s a reason for that. I think it’s because I’m a private person anyway, and I’m not so great with emotions.
